    1. I noticed that no one had answered your question so I figured I’d try to help out. I’ve had dogs all my life and I’ve learned to very carefully read ingredients on anything that I give to them. First of all a lot of these human foods have salt in them and are meant for human consumption. Though that sounds like that would make it safe for dogs it’s not necessarily true. Dogs cannot eat onions. My dogs always loved onions and would come nosing around for anything I made with onions, but Onions and garlic have chemicals in them that can make your dog sick! Onions actually make their blood cells burst. Too much liver can give a dog vitamin A toxicity. I won’t give my dogs anything with garlic in them though some people say it’s fine. As with anything, it’s a good idea to run it by yours vet before you buy it and give it to your dog. Best of luck. I hope you have a long, healthy and loving relationship with your dog.
